Morning Work K and 1st Grade

Hey guys, how's it going?

I know one thing, it is so hot, and I'm so glad my daddy and baby brother came

yesterday to help me out on my yard!!! (Well, they did most of the work, lol!!)

It had just gotten out of hand, and I needed some help in taming it!!

I keep looking out the window to see how nice it looks!!!

Well, it's getting to be about that time again, umhmmm, you know what I'm talking about!!

Time for school!!! I know that there are a few of you who have already started.

One of my fave packets that I created was the morning work for Kindergarten.

There is a packet for each month, from August, all the way to May.

They can also be purchased in a bundle, which saves you 30%!!!!! Wow!!!

Click on the image below for more information!!

Now, of course I absolutely love these packets,

but here are some of the reviews from other teachers who loved it as well!!!!

So, I've had several requests to create a first grade morning work pack,

and I didn't know if I really wanted to head down that road.

I also had some of my friends from my former 1st grade team ask me for one as well.

So, after some good advice from a great friend, I couldn't wait to pull it all together!!

So, here it is, Fall First Grade Morning Work!!!!

Whoo-hoo!!!  This pack helps to reinforce kindergarten skills that

students may have forgotten after they've experience the summer slide,

although we know that they haven't done diddly have studied religiously over the summer!!

It also helps to prep for those 1st grade skills that are soon a-coming!!

I loved using the morning work, and this year, as we move to a new reading series,

my grade level and I decided to use it for homework this year.

That's one of the main things I love about it, it's so versatile!!

The first five people to comment on their morning work plan will win a

Fall 1st Grade Morning Work pack!!!!

Don't forget your email address!!!

Thank you to the 1st five people who commented on their morning work plan. Your morning work pack is on the way!!!!
Everyone else, I'd love to still hear about what you do!!!

  8. During our Fall morning work plan is as follows: Journal prompt is given so they have 15 minutes to respond in their daily journal, 15 minutes to share journal prompt responses, begin vocabulary review for the week, read weekly story (reading task cards), and implement spelling for the week, then intervention groups and center work..which leads us into our recess time. veronica.varela@live.com I would love to have your 1st grade Fall Morning Work!

  9. Hi Everyone! My morning work plan involves my students (1st and 2nd) writing down their homework assignments and any reminders for the day. Afterwards they are to complete a worksheet or assignment in their journal that is a review of skills that have already been taught. Once they have completed their work, they may work in their Fun Folder.
