Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?
It is Friday-eve, and I need it to be the weekend!!
It's Thursday, so you know what that means!!
It's time for the 'What I Did Right This Week' linky, but......
.....first I want to share with you my currently for this month!!
I'm linking up with Farley again!!!
Ok, here we go!
I'm telling you, most evenings I listen to Castle about 3-4 days per week!!
Though I must admit, I'm getting addicted to Criminal Minds reruns on
A&E and ION Television!
I. AM. IN. LOVE. with all things fall!!!
I love the crispness and coolness, and I love fall fashion!!!
Now, I'm not a person who has to have or do the latest fads, but
sometime last fall, I absolutely fell in love with everything pumpkin!!!
I love pumpkin bread, always have, but I fell really hard for pumpkin creamer!!
I mean, I hoarded it last year, I had pumpkin creamer clear into February! (Shhh....)
Ok, since I went to Vegas right after the 4th of July, then Miami and the Bahamas,
and then I had to get ready for school, and then it's been a wild 2 months of school....
do you see where I'm going with this.....umhmmmmmm.....more excuses!!
No more!!! I'm getting back on the saddle, and I'm going to lose some weight!
So there!!!! (But I refuse to give up my pumpkin creamer!!)(Shhh..)
I am in serious need of some sleep......I've been staying up late, working
on centers, crafts, and projects for my kiddos,
in addition to surfing the net, just plain ole lollygagging around,
drinking caffeine at night (what in the world was I thinking?),
and everything else, you name it, I've done it, and as a result,
this girl is delirious!!!
For my treat, here's a reader that I love to use for this time of year!!
I love how it combines math and literacy, and it's a hit each year!

Now it's time for........
I started this weekly linky to help me to see the positive in this school year!
I love my kiddos, but they are so low right now, and I've just been plowing my way through!
This week we have been completing our assessments for report cards, and
I know that you already know how rough individual assessments for reading and math
But.......I finally see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel!
I started out by doing letter recognition, and some of my babies that
started out at 0% and 4% are finally starting to reach 50% and 60%!!
I was so ecstatic today, and my enthusiasm and excitement rubbed off on
them as well!!
It really lifted my spirits, and I saw that my work has not been in vain,
we're gonna make it after all!!!
So for all of you that feel like you just want to give up, don't!! They will get there!!
If you feel like linking up and sharing a little bit about your week, please feel free!
We're in this together!
Talk to you later!
