My morning work is really very varied, due to the fact that I have K-2 special educaitons kids that arrive at school at different times. These look like something I totally can do with them. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win a set.

I would love something that spirals concepts to review for independent morning work. You pack is awesome =)

My school calls morning work "Nemesis Standards". I believe from a program by Dennis Parker. The idea is that you are attacking something you want to learn. I tend to select high-frequency word/cvc sentences, or number practice. Long comment, short, : ), I try to pick something cute that the principal won't question. vhair61215@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteRight now I have the kids write in their journals when they come in the morning. This isn't the best choice though as they need a lot of support and I need to be doing other things! Your pack looks like a great idea.

For morning work my students do a page that helps them practice a recently introduced skill like counting, sight words, color words or letters. I'd love to try something new!
