Hey guys, how's it going?
I woke up to a new blog design, once again by Alicia from Dreamlike Magic,
and it made me so happy that I am going to have a giveaway!!!!
I thought and thought about what to give,
and then it came to me!
We have so much extra time in the mornings,
so I created morning work throughout the year,
and I'm even thinking about using it as homework this year.
With the new year coming up, I know that you could use it also!!
That's right, 10 months of morning work, all bundled together!!!
I'm so excited for you!!!!!
All you have to do is enter the raffle!!!!
The contest ends Monday, June 24 at midnight, so don't be late!!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
This would be an awesome prize!! Thanks for the chance! And congrats on the new blog design!!

DeleteLove the new design!! Thanks for the opportunity to win awesomeness!!
ReplyDeleteUnpack, eat breakfast, sit in the hallway reading books until the bell rings. When they walk in, they pick up a paper (usually a review of what we covered yesterday) and work on that until announcements. Then we begin calendar. Next year, I have no idea as I am moving to a new grade level.

Thanks for actually reading the directions, lol!!!
DeleteWhen the kids come in: they unpack, hang up their bus tags, put their lunches in the lunch basket, get their crayon cups and begin their morning work. After they are done, they get a book until Morning Meeting starts.

My students enter the room, put their things away, then get their journal and begin writing until announcments. I want to try something different this year. Maybe morning work is it!

Love the new design!
Would love, love, love to win! ckerzaya@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThis packet sounds great! We have a split day schedule so as soon as the first group walks I they put their things away and we start on math first thing! :)

Oh, your new blog design looks great! I love the colors and how all the patterns work so well together.
DeleteLove your new blog and this packet!
ReplyDeleteI high five my kiddos as they walk in, they hang up their things and walk to their desks making sure to bring their homework folder with them. They have a sheet of paper (daily practice work) to work on while we wait for the announcements. Pledge of allegiance and announcements. Then it's time to head to the carpet for calendar time. We only have 1/2 day Kinder so my time goes by super fast! la_marguerite83@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI love the high five!!! We usually shake hands and say good morning, but I'm going to have to definitely incorporate high fives!!
DeleteIt looks fabulous!!!!

Your site is adorable!!! We come in and write our homework in our assignment notebooks, and then get started on our morning page. I get to spend the time doing lunch count, attendance, checking for notes, checking in homework, all of the fun "teacher stuff". Your pages would be great to add into the day! mnothdorf@gavin37.org
ReplyDeleteI always struggle with morning work. I go back and forth between having structured work(worksheets) or more of a free choice(reading, writing, dry erase boards, etc) I would love to be able to try your morning work!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour new blog is great!

Thanks for the giveaway. I agree with Michelle- I also struggle with structured worksheets or free choice. If I win I will try them out during summer school.
ReplyDeleteThanks

This is a great package and would be awesome to try out in my classroom! I think that morning work sets the tone for the school day and gets my kids focused. I give my students handwriting practice pages from our workbooks and worksheets that practice skills currently being taught in math.
ReplyDeleteI usually begin the day with a read-aloud. I would love to win your Morning Work Bundle for my students!

DeleteYour new design looks great. Right now my morning work consists of easy worksheets. I would like to find something that would be more geared towards Common Core. I think your pack would be a great addition to do just that.
ReplyDeleteBaumgartelBlessings@blogspot.com
I would love this!

My kiddos usually have a worksheet to complete at their tables. It will contain a skill they know and just get to practice. They also have book boxes at their tables to read when they are finished. Thanks for the chance to win!

This would be such a great thing to win! I have my fingers crossed!

LOVE the new blog design, very cute! Morning work is always tricky, especially with the little ones and trying to get them to be independent while the chaos is occurring in the morning entrance of students. Even when I have folders and check them every morning, the students at the beginning of the year have not learned to leave it in the folder! Anyway it looks awesome! Crossing my fingers over here!
