On Display ~ Cheetah and Carnival Classroom Decor

Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?

I am still decompressing from Vegas, wishing I was still there!!

Anywho, I've been working on some class decor packs for some peeps, so here they are!

The cheetah print is for my friend Tomeka, she is a diva and then some!!

She loves to wear animal print, specifically cheetah,

and her favorite colors are red and gold, which are the

colors of her alma mater, Tuskegee University!

I took away some of the personalized items, and I decided to post it,

since I received so many compliments on it!

This next class decor pack is very near and dear to my heart!

Since we were displaced for the last 2 years, I didn't really have much of a theme for

my classroom, besides the primary colors and polka dots.

Last summer, I decided that I wanted a carnival/circus theme,

and I've been slowly amassing everything related to it!!

The last thing that I needed was a class decor pack,

and here you have it!!

I already have it printed out, and I can't wait to laminate it and put it up in my class!

I can't wait to show you guys my classroom!!

Talk to you later!!

If I Could Party All Night.....Vegas!

Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?

Well, I just got back from one of the most awesome experiences

in my life!!! VEGAS!!!!!!

There were several teacher conferences out there, including

I Teach K, I Teach 1st, and Differentiated Instruction.

I just happened to go to the Teachers Pay Teachers Sellers Conference,

and let me tell you, it was awesome (did I already say that?)!

I got to meet some totally wonderful teacher-bloggers......I may have been stalking them for a bit...

and I wondered how I would share all of these pictures with you,

and then my friend Jennifer did a wonderful collage for hers,

so since I love her so much, lol, I did the same thing!!

I got to meet the lovely ladies of Freebielicious!!

I may or may not have perused the candy section!

Hi, I'm Angela, and I'm a candy addict!

There were a few happy hours......

and I got to hang with one of my best blogging friends......

Jennifer from First Grade Blue Skies!!

She did a fantabulous job of presenting during the TPT conference!!

Shhh.......don't tell her I took a picture of her!!!

And then of course, there are pictures that I won't be sharing with you!!

Hey, what can I say, it's VEGAS!!!!

All in all, we did a lot, I tried to sleep a lot, but I had a ton of fun!!

I can't wait until next year!

Hop on over to A Burst of First with Deirdre,

and see what else happened in VEGAS!!

Planning for the New School Year!

Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?

As you are reading this post, I am currently in VEGAS!!!!

I can't wait to share with you guys about my journey!!

Anywho, as I'm trying to enjoy the last few weeks

of summer vacay, I can't help but to

think ahead to the school year that is fast approaching.

I want to utilize calendars more, and I have several,

ranging from complicated to simple.

I created a simple one, and it's only for my

Facebook Fans!!!

It is also editable, just add a text box and you'll be on your way!!

If you are a fan, just click on the more tab, and click Fan Freebies!!

Let's Talk About Books: Extraordinary Jane

Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?

I'm linking up with Deanna again for...

I was in Barnes and Nobles the other day, and I happened across

this totally awesome book!!

At first, it caught my eye because I was thinking

that it would match my new classroom theme that I am doing this year.

After I read it, I fell in love with it for different reasons.

This book is about Jane, who feels that she is extra ordinary,

while her family is extraordinary!

Throughout the book, she learns that.......

I think that it would be for students to hear, that being yourself is

good enough!! I think I may read this during

the first days of school!

If you'd like this book, the link below will take you to Amazon,

where you can get it a heck of a lot cheaper than I did!!
