Hey guys and dolls, how's it going?
I've been really enjoying my break here,
but I've also been doing a little bit of planning!
Last week I wrote about specific goals that I want to try and reach,
you can read more about them here.
Today, I'm linking up with the girls over at Primary Powers
for a One Word Resolution linky!!
This is one that I definitely know that I can do!!
My word for 2015 is TRY!!
There have been many times where I have a great idea about things,
and then I don't even try to do it!! It can be for different reasons, from thinking
that my idea isn't good enough, to thinking that I'm not going to be able to do it right,
not wanting to try the new exercise class at the gym because it will be too hard,
not wanting to take on a project with my Silhouette because I won't do it right,
anything, you name it!
I wonder how many times I've let good things go simply because I'm afraid to try?
In 2015, I think that I'm going to try, even if I fail, because I never know what I
might accomplish!!
Come on over and link up with Primary Powers to share your
one word resolution!
Great choice, Angela! It goes so well with your tagline "One Letter at a Time!"
ReplyDeleteI can relate to this, too! I think it's maybe the perfectionist in me, but for some reason if I perceive something as being very difficult, I give up before really even trying. You are so right, though. If we don't try, we will never know what we could have accomplished. Great goal!

Adventures of a Schoolmarm
I can relate to this one so well! I think the same thing you do; how many opportunities or fun have I missed out on because I was afraid to "try"?

I love that word! What a great one! You are SO RIGHT. We tell our kids that all the time... hmmmm. :) Thanks for the great post!

Kindergarten: Holding Hands and Sticking Together
That's a great word! I often have a lot of ideas, but sometimes doubt that I can! I think I'll add this word to my list too! Thanks!
